Nov 19th!!!

Two more weeks I will be heading to MN!!!! What should I do what should I do???? Think THink THink, plan plan plan!!!!

Wow

Time flies. I had already been in LA for 6 months! I thank God for everything because he is truly a provider and loving God.

Intense two weeks!!

The last two weeks was....intense but rewarding and awesome!! Parents came visit and I'm glad they liked LA. The food here is simply fantastic! Two weeks we had never eaten in the same restaurant twice!! SF trip was great! I haven't been there since 1991 and thanks to my old La Salle friend Winfred, I was able to explore SF in an afternoon riding a bike!! All parents and I gained weight.. so I better get to the gym more lol! Some pix to share! : )

Better start....

Finally a better start of the week!! I have been sleep deprived forever and if Monday is bad then the rest of the week is screwed, just like domino effect! I actually gathered enough energy to go to the Gym today too. Weather has been just perfect, not too warm with a nice ocean breeze, but heat is coming soon so let's see if I even need to peel off my skin!! lol!!
Gas has finally dropped... to.. $4.39/gal... lol!!
My company had decided to ship me to Atlanta to visit the warehouse the end of July!! It's exciting but not looking forward to the red eye flights at all, I WILL definitely get red eyed!!
Looking back though, this year has been awesome, even though I kept bleeding financially, I'm just grateful so far that I made the decision to move. God is truly a provider and my faith grew stronger because of this move.

Get Well Soon!

Today at work a card was passing around for people to sign. It's for someone who recently got hospitalized and everyone was writing kind words to wish her well and hope she can get well soon. While I was signing the card I glanced at what others wrote... Get well soon, Best of luck, we miss you, get well, rest up and come back soon....happy birthday.. Happy birthday???? LOL!! Oh nooo!! Someone mistakenly thought it's a birthday card and signed Happy Birthday!! LOL!!! The whole room laughed for 15 mins and the person who wrote it totally got chewed!! LOL!!! TOO FUNNY!!! Ultimately I think this would cheer the person who was hospitalized even more though. : )

EWWWWWWWWW

I guess I found another disadvantage of living in LA.... is Pest!!! OMG!! It was so gross!! I came home from small group Thursday night and thinking of relaxing and getting some ice cream... yeah i got some ice cream alright ... a quiet night turned into a heart pumping ordeal!!! I heard some noise coming out of the cupboard while filling up my cup of water, omg... what is it!!!! I opened the cupboard and... oh NOOO.. i saw my bag of sugar opened!! And heard something in it!!! Probably eating the sugar!!! Argh!! My mood completely went down!!! I seriously was scared because I have no idea what that was!!!! I got my bugs spray and my tennis racket... lol.. seriously i waited for 15min to decide what to do!! How chicken i am!! But i have to deal with this!! I sprayed the opening of the bag and waited little then saw this HUGE thing crawling out of the cupboard!! omg!! is a huge cockroach!! SOO GROSSS!!! I sprayed like crazy because it was running around!!! I thought I was suffocating too... then it crawled on me then kept running!! (just kidding about the crawling on me part).. it finally died! Seriously I haven't seen a roach for years since there is no such thing in Minnesota only spiders! Now I really need to becareful! It was just TOOO GROSSS!!!!

A Tiring Weekend...

A fulfilling but tiring weekend.. in fact it's Monday night and I'm still tired lol! I went work out after work just now and I could barely do 1 rep.. very sui pay : P.. Finally went to Ce Fiore!!! yippee!!! And went sun bathe at my aunt's backyard hahaa.. need to fix up my very uneven skin tone!! SHHH... Took a pic of my uncle's super delish shrimp he cooked for us one night!! : )

MN license plate no more!!!

haha... yup! I finally got my MN license plate changed to Cali's!!! omg!! It took sooOO long! But even though it was worrisome and troubling I handed it to God and He took care of it for me. I know... this is one thing I couldn't foresee happening and it's such a teenie tiny thing! You might think that changing a simple license plate would be easy but uh uh! nono.. the screws just won't move at all!! Went to local car services, can't do, went to Honda dealer, can't do but finally they are nice enough to recommend me a body shop. A body shop??? omg!! So yesterday I went to have them take a look and their recommendation was that the bumper has to be taken out in order for them to work behind it. wow!! A fee of about $50 might be charged. The estimator was also nice not to charge me labor already but just the bracket that mounts the bumper might break so it's only parts fee. Anyway I brought the car in and have to trouble my aunt again to drive me to work.. good that it's on the way. I was sooOO happy to see my new Cali license plate mounted in when I went pick up the car!!!! And the fee??? FREE!! because no brackets broke! I was so happy and glad. It's finally over! Is that a sign that I'm officially a Californian??? LOL.. For those who are curious which body shop it was, it's called Marcos Body shop in S Pas near Fair Oaks Ave and Monterey Road. They are the best!! : )
And also thank God for helping me with this tiny ordeal. : ) Weekend is coming again.. time flies : )

HOT

Heat has finally arrived.. today is the hottest day by far after I arrived in LA. 102F the thermostat read ... omg! Luckily I can still survive with my fan in my apt.. it's surprising cool living in the first floor!! I'm all well now and fully recovered from my sorethroat, I'm so super glad! I made it to the Sedaqah group on Thursday and everyone was like... omg it's Aaron! We thought you died! (i added this part) lol! It was nice to see them friends and it felt like the bond is tighter and tighter each time we meet so it's good. It's too bad that I won't be able to make the Vegas trip with them. I also ate dinner with a bunch of Ben's friend on Wednesday which was surprising because they came visit LA haha.. they kept saying I act like Ben... boooot.. -_-" We had a great time though, tons of laughter hahaa.. we had Korean BBQ buffet that night and Phoenix for dessert afterwards haha..

Thank God I'm finally getting better. I know I know... even though I should be old enough to deal with it it's actually my first tough test of taking care of myself and I think i did.... poorly.. lol. And I must admit I finally missed my family...awwww. From this experience though I really learn to appreciate everything, from the very simple things that we tend to take for granted of such as swallowing without pain to the appreciation of friendship and FOOOOD!! All very precious to me now. I thank my friend who actually came to my place and cook congee for me, and another friend who brought Kam Quat and watermelon for me... very touching! The Kam Quat really works miracle too! Next time when I have sorethroat I must have Kam Quat!!!

Finally.. a sorethroat... sigh.. there goes my work out plan.. :( Not as seriously as last time that I couldn't even get outta bed... but it still hurts.. sorethroat, go away go away!! >.<""

This weekend was tooo short!! I want more more more weekendsss! Weather was soo compfy! Tried to catch some Zzzz but rrr.. ended up sleeping even later lol.. so pretty much a relaxing weekend. Tennis, went shopping a bit at Arcadia Mall. I can't believe Federer lost soo badly to Nadal!! Like he didn't even had a chance! Poor him. Went to a Malay restaurant with some nice friends. : )

Nice weather!

Today is another super nice weather day! Despite having slept super late Friday, I managed to get up at around 9am! Went to 99cents to get some stuff then signed up for library card haha.. wut.. i read??? :P I was hoping to finally get my license plate changed too but no luck, I was advised to actually go to a body shop to have the screws grind out and drill ... gosh.. can't believe this is so troublesome. Anyhow, I had dinner w/ friends and went home and watched the end of Finding Nemo LOL!! don't laugh! Oh ya.. im also super happy to have two other friends who came to LA for a visit. They are JJ and Hogan! : ) Seeing them made me feel like I was back in MN again haha

So many things happened...

A few people had asked me where I am working now so I took a couple pictures of my work place. : ) The company is called CPO Commerce, Inc. an e commerce company for home improvement tools. It's a new start up company of 4 years and it's growing 100% each year by far!! People are extremely talented and driven. I hope I can keep up and they don't fire me that soon... lol!!

Ha! I'm starting a new blog?? Are you kidding me? lol.. um.. ok .. not kidding.
Time flies and it's already my third month in LA, new start new blog huh! Just hopefully have time to update this thing.
